The Happy Baby Shop is starting its Christmas preparations this week.
The decorations are up and the Christmas events are getting scheduled. Hazel from This Little Piggy Keepsakes will be in her studio getting all those wee hand prints and foot prints printed and cast ready for some lovely Christmas gifts.
Coming up next week is our Mums shopping night. We've Hazel popping in, Calma Massage and Body Beautiful by Karen giving free taster sessions and lots of smellies from Granny Sallys Soap Kitchen. Not to mention some bubbly refreshments and fantastic discounts for one night only!!
Also on the calander, Santa is coming to Tranent. We're turning The Happy Baby Shop into Santa's very own grotto!! Tickets aer £4.50 for the first child and £3.50 for subsequent children. Children get to meet and chat with Santa, they get a lovely gift and their photo taken by East Coast Camera's, Peter Fallon (available to purchase separately) and a wee sweetie too!! Better make sure everyone is good!!

We Love Frugi!
Frugi are an organic and ethically produced childrens clothing brand.

Wishbone Bikes...Wow!
If you're looking for a Christmas gift which still be played with after February then the Wishbone Bike is for you.
Balance bikes are all the rage and there are literally hundreds on the market. The balance bike works by teaching children how to balance first (the difficult part of cycling), so when the move onto a pedal bike they only need to learn to peddle. Removing the need for stabilisers!!

Whats in a name?
You've bought the book, you've made a list and spent hours arguing with your partner/friends/mothers..what about? Baby's name!!
I did a little fun research to see what came up and was amazed to find that 1 in 5 parents REGRET the names they have chosen for their children! A survey conducted by Bounty.com found that 19% of people were fed up when they realised that lots of children shared the same name.
